Thursday, 10/2 Hi friends, Happy October. Kind of a wet start to the month so far. Hopefully it clears up soon. The famous Warrensburg town wide garage sale is this weekend. It always draws a large crowd and a little sunshine would be welcomed. Only two weeks left of trout season. Now is the time to take that last trip into your favorite pond. It is an excellent time to fish as the water has cooled down and the fish are feeding. I like slow trolling large nymphs behind a sinking line this time of year. There are a few places that stay open longer such as the Schroon River which can be fished all year. There are always a few nice salmon taken from the Starbuckville Dam in the Fall. Hunters, we are all stocked up for deer season with plenty of muzzleloading supplies, scents, scent killer, calls, guns, ammo, and much more. Stop in and check us out.
